About Us

We are an experimental socio-environmental project focused on living beings and their home, the planet.

Our Story

Steps that connect history and nature

Our story began in 1982 with the purchase of Fazenda do Engenho, whose headquarters served as base and architectural inspiration for Engenho Lodge, our first tourism venture. Today, we have over 6,000 hectares of land undergoing rewilding – the recovery of native flora and fauna – and we’ve also made a social commitment. Based on regenerative tourism, we invest in the economic sustainability of the region.

Our goal is to work towards creating an environment that is fertile for the flourishing of happiness, where there is harmony between the people and the environment.
