Expooca 2025 - Coexistence

Coexistence transcends mere aesthetics; it is an invitation to reflect. How do human choices shape ecosystems? What marks do we leave on the landscape? What commitments do we make to regenerating the world we live in?

Coexistence is a visual and reflective exhibition that delves deeply into the symbiotic and fascinating relationship between humanity and nature. Through the sensitive eye of photographer Marcio Brigatto and the ingenuity of Tziu's models, the exhibition weaves a narrative about the interaction between human beings, their constructions and the regeneration of the natural world in the unique context of Ibiti Projeto and Vila de Mogol.
The photographs taken by Marcio Brigatto reveal stories built by buildings designed in Ibiti, which symbolize a genuine commitment to life in the territory. These images dialogue with the organic nature of the buildings in Vila de Mogol, which are full of simplicity and marks of ancestry. This encounter between the sophisticated and the ancestral, between the planned and the spontaneous, presents the visitor with a rich and contrasting visual universe.

In addition, artist Tziu's detailed models give a three-dimensional and intimate perspective of the various buildings in Ibiti. With beauty and artisanal precision, the models reveal not only the architecture, but also the stories, dreams and purposes they carry. His works invite the public to come into contact with the buildings in a tactile and contemplative way, offering a new dimension to the idea of habitability.

The regenerative power of nature occupies a central place in the exhibition's narrative. The coexistence of forests that are reborn, landscapes rich in biodiversity and fields of organic crops sums up the essential message: it is possible to live in harmony with the Earth, cultivating it without exploiting it, integrating into the environment without imposing domination. The regeneration of nature also reflects human regeneration - a restoration of values that reconnects us with the essence of being an integral part of the web of life.

The combination of Marcio Brigatto's photography, Tziu's models, the ancestry inspired by the Oca and the natural scenery of Ibiti reveal, in their complexity and simplicity, the possibility of a future where human constructions, conscious cultivation and natural regeneration coexist in harmony.

Marcio Brigatto

A photographer since 1985, he transforms landscapes, people and moments into visual narratives with sensitivity. Founder of the studio Marcio Brigatto Fotografia (Zoom Photos), he works with major brands such as ArcelorMittal and Mercedes-Benz, with award-winning images, such as the 8th Vladimir Herzog Prize, and published in books and magazines. He specializes in advertising, industrial and corporate photography. Between cameras and lights, he also reflects the lightness and poetry that can now be found in Ibiti's black and white photos.

Luiz Antônio Saraiva Campos, Tziu

An architect for 38 years and an art teacher at Life School, he is also Ibiti Projeto's "sports minister", encouraging employees, friends and visitors to get their bodies and spirits moving. He transforms architecture into poetry through sustainable models made from leftover materials, stones, fungi and dehydrated plants, which tell the story of the Ibiti houses he has designed since 1982. "I'm a bird that flies around, never stopping," says Tziu, reflecting the lightness and freedom he imprints on his creations, a symbol of memory and the soul of Minas Gerais.
